Dear Friends,
We girls have been to Marion to-day. Took in the play at the “Grand.” When we get warm after our cold ride from the station I think we shall retire. Expect you have looked for this before but you know girls are neglectful when they are away from home having a good time. Don’t know when I shall come home. Best wishes to you both,
Bertha

“you know girls are neglectful when they are away from home having a good time.” LOL 🙂 Sounds so contemporary!
Glad for the transcription, so I didn’t have to turn my computer screen up-side-down!
It definitely does sound contemporary! I guess teenagers really haven’t changed much in 100 years.
