A resident of Harrison Township in 1850, he was living with his second wife, Susana, and children Benjamin (20) and Mary (12), and stepchildren, John Brush (10) and Nancy Brush (8).

ALEXANDER, John T. – Born 22 March 1810, Knox County, Tennessee; died 7 January 1886, Linn County, Kansas. He married Esther Denny on 3 December 1832, Clay County, Indiana. They had two daughters, Sophia and Samira “Louise”.

ALEXANDER, George H. – Born c1820, Tennessee; died before 1880, Kansas. He married Sarah C. Buckallew, in August 1843, Clay County, Indiana. They had two children, James and Mary C.
ALEXANDER, Robert – Born c1819, Tennessee. Resident of Harrison Township in 1850, with wife Sarah (29) and daughters, Elizabeth (18) and Nancy (16).
ARTHUR, James – Born c1818, Indiana; died November 1869, Kansas. He married Elizabeth Crary, 7 May 1840, Bartholomew County, Indiana. In 1850, they had four children: July, Mary, Charles and Elizabeth.
BAKER, Richard – Born 20 September 1817, Kentucky; died 8 March 1891, Boone County, Iowa. His first wife was Elizabeth. They had five children in 1850: John (9), Andrew (7), Nancy J. (5), Mary A. (2) and Martha (1). Twelve year old Elizabeth Griffy lived in the household.

BLEVINS, Deborah – Born c1800, North Carolina. Widow of Warren Blevins, in 1850, she lived with her three children: Elisha, Lemuel and Ester. Elisha remained in Clay County, and died there in 1890.
