Genealogy Lady 
Obviously warm weather…but still the voluminous black dress, 😦 Well, I assume it’s black.
Most of the pictures I have of her she is wearing black (or dark colors). It may in fact be her widow’s weeds. Christian died in 1903. I have one picture with her wearing a light colored top which may have been taken before 1903.
