That was the living room in Rockport…the window faced west.

My diary for that day reads, in part: “Up about 9…another day of relaxation and reading. In the morning Bonnie and Granda and Emil played Scrabble. I took several pictures on a new roll of film of Debbie, Bonnie & Grandma. G & Emil had lunch with us, but then by about 2 they left. They wanted to get home before dark–they had planned to stay tonight, but there’s a storm on the way.”

I actually had three living great grandparents. And I have pictures with them too. 🙂 I have always appreciated how special that was. My great grandfather lived to be 102 years old.
