W. B. Schwartz also received quite a few letters from family during his time at Leavenworth. The letters were mostly from his daughters, sisters and brothers.

As I said about the other ledger, SO much data….helping you sometimes connect the dots. But the chart covers several years. He really didn’t get a whole lot of letters. And it’s so sad to know that none of all these letters send and received survive. Or maybe there’s a bundle somewhere in somebody’s attic.
It would wonderful if the letters had survived somewhere….

I know, isn’t it?!? I knew that William B. Schwartz and Samuel Yeagerlehner were extended brother-in-laws (brother of William’s sister husband), but you never think of those connections, and that they likely knew one another.
